Stara Planina is the longest and the most Bulgarian mountain. It also occupies the largest area. There is no other part of Bulgaria that gives shelter to so many monasteries. Also in its central part you can find the highest waterfalls in Bulgaria.

In the west part of Stara Planina Mountain you can find magnificent caves, many monasteries and some incredible rock formations.

Those hills connect Danube Valley and Stara Planina Mountain. Here you can find a lot of caves, canyons, and great cultural heritage.

Rodopa is the most lyric and the most populated Bulgarian mountain. In its west part you can find beautiful lakes, magnificent caves and splendid gorges.
